Dallas Cowboys rookie linebacker Micah Parsons might not realize Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has played with a so-called chip on his shoulder for some time.
And when the Bengals visit the Cowboys in Dallas during the 2022 season, Burrow might remember remarks Parsons made during an interview earlier this week with Bleacher Report's Taylor Rooks.
Parsons did not include Burrow among his top 6 NFL quarterbacks, which included Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Aaron Rodgers, Kyler Murray, Lamar Jackson and Dak Prescott.
He did say Burrow would be in his top 10. But he suggested that Burrow remains prone to having bad days.
"Joe's like extremely good. But then some games, Joe would like have a day. But then some games like he's not there," Parsons said.
The date of the Bengals' game in Dallas has not been announced.
Parsons was named the AP Defensive Rookie of the Year earlier in the week. Bengals receiver Ja'Marr Chase was named AP Offensive Rookie of the Year, and Burrow was named AP Comeback Player of the Year.
