Former Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer hasn't always had the nicest things to say about the organization and his time in Cincinnati. But he's got nothing but praise for Joe Burrow.
"He got the Bengals here. He got this roster here," Palmer said of Burrow, per USA TODAY Sports' Jordan Mendoza. "I just think he has multiple Super Bowls in the future. ... A lot of that magic is Joe that's rubbing off on the guys ... and I think they might have just enough magic to get (a Super Bowl win)."
Palmer said he'll be rooting for Burrow and the Bengals on Sunday against the Rams. "No fanbase deserves this Super Bowl berth more," Palmer told Dan Patrick last month.
In 2019, the Bengals' starting quarterback for seven seasons was critical of his former team in remarks he made during a podcast interview with John Middlekauff during the "3 and Out" podcast. Palmer called the organization a "mess and disaster" and added that "when you have that added pressure and stress of not trusting the organization and knowing that they don't know what they're doing, that's just an added amount of stress you don't need as a young player."
