A 9-year-old boy from Springfield Township who received game-used uniform items from Ja'Marr Chase and other Cincinnati Bengals this season is headed to Super Bowl LVI to watch his favorite team in person.
Per an announcement made Monday night during the Super Bowl Opening Night Fan Rally at Paul Brown Stadium, Kingston "King" Thomas will be on hand at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, as the Bengals take on the Rams.
Chase gave Thomas the gloves he wore during the Bengals' first playoff win, last month against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Chase did the "Griddy" - as he's known to do - at the rally.
Chase's teammate, C.J. Uzomah, ripped off his leg brace and declared that he would not miss the biggest game of his life because of an MCL sprain.
Earlier in the day, former Bengals receiver Cris Collinsworth - who will call Sunday's Super Bowl for NBC along with former Cincinnati Reds play-by-play broadcaster Al Michaels - told reporters that Chase "in my estimation, is already the best receiver that I've ever seen play with a Cincinnati Bengals uniform on."
