‘King’ Thomas, 9, will be at SoFi Stadium to watch Bengals’ Super Bowl

Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon (28), Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd (83) and Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase (1) celebrate a touchdown catch by Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd (83) in the second quarter during an NFL AFC wild-card playoff game, Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022, at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati.

A 9-year-old boy from Springfield Township who received game-used uniform items from Ja'Marr Chase and other Cincinnati Bengals this season is headed to Super Bowl LVI to watch his favorite team in person.

Per an announcement made Monday night during the Super Bowl Opening Night Fan Rally at Paul Brown Stadium, Kingston "King" Thomas will be on hand at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, as the Bengals take on the Rams.

Chase gave Thomas the gloves he wore during the Bengals' first playoff win, last month against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Chase did the "Griddy" - as he's known to do - at the rally.
