Green Township Police say a 3-year-old has died after being hit by a car while sledding Sunday afternoon.Officials say the incident occurred just before 3:30 p.m. on Sunday in the 5400 block of Bluesky Drive.According to police, a 2004 Ford explorer was driving southbound on Northcrest Lane, approaching the intersection of Bluesky Drive, when a sled carrying the 3-year-old and a 4-year-old entered the road and was hit by the vehicle.Green Township Police say both children were injured and taken to Children's Hospital Medical Center. Officials say the 3-year-old died due to injuries that were sustained while the 4-year-old was last listed in stable condition.Officials say the driver was not injured as a result of the crash. Alcohol, drugs or speed did not appear to be a factor in the incident, according to police.Green Township Police says the incident remains under investigation.
