A popular restaurant in Cincinnati's Over-the-Rhine has closed.If you walk past The Mercer OTR, which is located at 1324 Vine St., you'll see a sign posted on its door that reads: "CLOSED. It's been a pleasure serving you, OTR. Cheers."Meanwhile, the restaurant's website has also been deleted.Many customers mentioned in Cincinnati's food group, Chowdown Cincinnati, that their late January/early February reservations had been canceled. In the cancelation email, it reads, "Thank you for choosing Mercer OTR. We will be closed for the foreseeable future, we are sorry for the inconvenience."Owners of The Mercer OTR have not said what led to the decision to close the restaurant.
