Featuring roaring vocals and filmed inside the believed-to-be-haunted Bobby Mackey's Music World, Foxy Shazam released a new song and music video ahead of the release of the band's new album, "The Heart Behead You."
While the nine-song album comes out on Valentine's Day, Feb. 14, the Cincinnati-based band gave fans a preview of the mood and tenor behind the album with the video for "Dancing With My Demons."
The music video, filmed at Bobby Mackey's, a Wilder, Kentucky, nightclub that has been featured on TV shows chronicling its haunted history, was released on Jan. 18. Foxy Shazam's new album was self-recorded at the LodgeKY. Each song tells a "journey through the highs and lows of love, both in a relationship and with oneself," the band said in a release.
"I let God in the room while making a play about the Devil," vocalist and maestro Eric Nally said about the creation of the music video and song.

“The title of the album, 'The Heart Behead You' is our way of saying 'let your heart be the guide,' " the band wrote. "As artists, there’s always a danger of overthinking what you're feeling so we choose to put the heart before the head.”
The band will begin an eight-show tour starting at Andrew J. Brady Music Center on Saturday, Feb. 12.
