The Cincinnati area is under a winter storm warning from midnight Thursday until 7 a.m. Friday. It will begin as widespread rain Wednesday morning and afternoon.

In northern Ohio, rain, sleet and snow can all be expected, according to the Akron Beacon Journal, and the much of the region is under a winter storm warning through Friday morning. Another foot of snow, or more is possible.
Athens, Eastern Ohio weather predictions
The National Weather Service Charleston, West Virginia office, which covers Athens and portions of eastern Ohio, is predicting a "complex" storm with threats of flooding and potential significant ice accumulations along and west of the Ohio River.
