As the home team in Super Bowl LVI - despite playing at the Rams' home, Los Angeles' SoFi Stadium - the Cincinnati Bengals announced their uniform choice Wednesday.
Black jersey. White pants with orange stripes. Orange socks.
From the Bengals via Twitter:
The black jersey is part of the Bengals' standard uniform when they play at Paul Brown Stadium. They've worn it with white pants and black pants.
The combination of white pants with orange stripes and orange socks is similar to what the Bengals wore in Super Bowl XVI on Jan. 24, 1982 - the franchise's first Super Bowl appearance.
The Bengals wore white in their other Super Bowl appearance - in Super Bowl XXIII on Jan. 22, 1989.
The Bengals wore white with white pants with black stripes in their AFC Championship win against the Chiefs in Kansas City.
