Thursday night's snowfall continues into Friday, over-performing what models indicated would happen in Greater Cincinnati. Forecasters now warn there is more snow to come.
According to the National Weather Service, an additional band of heavier snow is moving into the region.
Forecasters initially expected a dusting but snowfall totals in the region range from 1.2 inches to 2.1 inches, the NWS is reporting.
Light to moderate snow continued to cover roads across the Tri-state into Friday afternoon resulting in numerous slowdowns and traffic accidents.
As the snow continues to fall into the evening, drivers are warned to expect more delays over the next several hours.
Driving conditions will be negatively impacted, mainly due to the reduced visibility in the heavy snowfall. Slick roads are possible.
