Buffalo Bills defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier, a former Cincinnati Bengals defensive coordinator, interviewed with the Chicago Bears and New York Giants for their head-coaching vacancies - but both teams went in another direction.

The Giants announced Friday that they interviewed Frazier for a second time before announcing that his fellow Bills coordinator, Brian Daboll, will be their new head coach.

The Bears hired Indianapolis Colts defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus earlier this week as their new head coach.

The Bears confirmed last Friday that they interviewed Frazier, who played for Chicago from 1981 to 1985.

Frazier, the Bills' defensive coordinator since 2017, interviewed with the Miami Dolphins for their head-coaching vacancy earlier this month, according to multiple reports. ESPN reported that the Dolphins also interviewed former Bengals defensive backs coach Vance Joseph - the Arizona Cardinals' defensive coordinator since 2019 - for the job.
