As the Cincinnati Bengals prepare to meet the Kansas City Chiefs Sunday in the AFC Championship Game, they'll have to face one of the National Football League's best quarterbacks in Patrick Mahomes.
But, Patrick isn't the only star athlete in his family, his father, Pat Mahomes, played Major League Baseball for parts of 11 seasons. He amassed a 42-39 record and a 5.47 ERA in 308 career games.
Six of those career games came against the Cincinnati Reds as a member of the New York Mets and Chicago Cubs.
Mahomes never picked up a decision in any of the games, recording only one hold, but his teams went 2-4 against the Reds.
