Police are investigating after it was found that someone was selling nude selfies of children in Larue County. The investigation is centered around Larue County High School and Larue County Middle School in Hodgenville, according to the Hodgenville Police Department.HPD officers said they spent the last two days, Monday, Jan. 24, and Tuesday, Jan. 25, interviewing children at LCMS and LCHS.HPD then identified an LCMS student as the suspect in this investigation, and said that charges will be filed against them. Their name will not be released, as they are a minor.The charges will be for distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor and possession or viewing of said matter."HPD will not tolerate this type of behavior and will charge anyone found to be selling children's nude photos regardless of age," said the police.They strongly advised that parents talk to their children about the dangers of sending nudes across the internet and about the fact of taking them at all.Any parents with questions can reach out to the police department via their Facebook page.
