Wind chills are harsh on the body and can cause frostbite in as little as 30 minutes with any exposed skin. Be sure to wear extra layers and try to limit time outdoors.
This morning wind chills around the Greater Cincinnati area are already reaching negative values, with Cincinnati Lunken Airport recording -1 and Cincinnati Covington recording -6, according to the National Weather Service.
Even with sunshine, temperatures will remain below freezing today, likely rising only to the teens or mid-twenties.
