Cold temperatures move through Cincinnati


Arctic high pressure will keep us cold this Saturday.Skies will stay dry, but afternoon temperatures will be in the low 30s, so be sure to bundle up if you're going out. Clouds build in through Saturday night — these clouds along with south winds will keep our temperatures in the mid 20s into Sunday morning.We will see more clouds in the Queen City on Sunday. These clouds will be carrying some light snow. Look for that in the morning through the middle of the afternoon. Any accumulation would be quite minor and confined to areas north of the river. The best chance of headache producing snow with the best chance closer to I-70. Most areas locally see a half inch to 1 inch — that will be for Cincinnati and cities north of the Ohio River. Accumulations of 1-3 inches will be contained to the I-70 corridor. Places that see totals to an inch may see some isolated slick spots, but widespread problems aren't expected. Highs Sunday will climb to the low and mid 30s and lows Sunday night drop into the upper teens.Expect a warm up Monday before more cold air arrives Tuesday and for the rest of the week.If you are going to Nashville for the Bengals game, the weather looks sunny and cold. Expect 30s for tailgates and around 40 degrees for kickoff.
