Joe Burrow has checked a lot of the boxes you'd want and expect out of your starting quarterback on and off the field already in just his second season after being drafted with the league's first overall pick.
But while the young face of the franchise has proven himself on the gridiron so far, he's also become a bit of a celebrity off the field with his social media-igniting commentary and his unique fashion sense.
Here is a look back at some of Burrow's most memorable outfits since becoming a Bengal.
Burrow 'Buffs'
After the Bengals defeated the Raiders in an AFC wild-card matchup to end a 31-year playoff drought that has held the fanbase captive in misery, Burrow descended upon the post-game press conference with a swagger that blew up social media. Donning Cartier shades, commonly referred to as "Buffs," a name popular in the Detroit hip-hop scene, Burrow was asked if there was any "significance" to his glasses after the big win.
"Oh, no," he answered while chuckling, "I just think they're pretty cool, what do you think?"
Capitalizing on the attention it received online, Cincy Shirts created a Warhol-style shirt of Burrow wearing the glasses available for purchase called "Joey Warhol."
Skyline Chili even jumped in, tweeting an image of two cheese coneys wearing those classy shades.
My Cause, My Cleats
Undoubtedly, Burrow's most impactful fashion statement was in the form of a pair of cleats he wore against the Los Angeles Chargers earlier this season. While wearing special cleats for an NFL game is nothing new, the story behind Burrow's footwear choice holds a lot of weight.
Burrow first brought attention to some of the food insecurity challenges many people face in his Athens County hometown during his Heisman Trophy speech back in 2019. Since then, he spurred others to create a Facebook page that hauled in $350,000 leading to the Joe Burrow Hunger Relief Fund.
Burrow's cleats against the Chargers, were orange and green and read “Foundation for Appalachian Ohio" on one side and “Athens County Food Pantry" on the other, with “Joe Burrow Hunger Relief Fund," on the back.

SpongeBob suits
Ahead of a Week 11 showdown with the Washington Football Team during his rookie season, Burrow, who wore a custom suit to each game, called on Hellman Retail Group, an upscale downtown men's clothing store, to put his lifelong SpongeBob SquarePants affinity into a pre-game fit. The result? A "bold purple windowpane suit with a SpongeBob twist." The suit included a floral imprint on the inside and a SpongeBob pocket square to cap off the style. Burrow wore custom suits with SpongeBob accessories to multiple games and previously explained why he grew so fond of the Nickelodeon show.
"I was scared of everything growing up," he said. "I still don't like scary movies, I don't like haunted houses or anything like that. I couldn't watch 'Harry Potter,' 'Lord of the Rings,' 'House.' I was strictly a SpongeBob, Disney Channel, Nickelodeon kinda guy."
'Bengals by 30 based off this and this alone'
Ahead of a crucial matchup with the Chiefs that would clinch an AFC North title and a playoff appearance for the Bengals, Burrow was photographed in a casual look with a T-shirt featuring pictures of his three top wide receivers, Ja'Marr Chase, Tyler Boyd, and Tee Higgins. The look captured the attention of Twitter users when NFL reporter Dov Kleiman tweeted about the pre-game getup.
"I love this. All three receivers were heavily involved in Burrow's massive game last week and all three can have big games again today," one user wrote.
Said another, "Bengals by 30 based off of this and this alone."
Ho, ho, ho, Burrow!
'Twas the day after Christmas, and all through Baltimore, the talk of the town was Burrow's ascendance into franchise lore. After a record-setting day in which Burrow threw for 525 yards and four touchdowns against the Ravens, a division rival, the quarterback showed up post-game with another SpongeBob-themed garb: a red Krusty Krab sweatshirt. But this time, he added a festive accessory, a Santa Claus hat, to solidify the fit.
When asked about the SpongeBob threads, Burrow said "It's a great show. That's all I got."
Before the game, he also featured a Santa hat and elected to wear a crew neck sweatshirt that read: "Happy Holla Days" with a Santa Claus giving a peace sign.
Cozy Joey
While Burrow became known for his sharp custom suits worn during pre-games of his rookie season, the quarterback began to showcase a more veteran, comfortable vibe in his second season. On Nov. 21, when the Bengals traveled to Las Vegas for a matchup with the Raiders, Burrow displayed his coziest outfit yet, a matching Jordan brand sweatsuit he wore while holding a duffle bag and wearing a Dunder Mifflin knit hat, a nod to the popular show "The Office".
Burrow described the outfit as "comfy" insisting he wasn't making a fashion statement during an interview with CBS' Evan Washburn.
"I just throw on whatever I think looks good, I'm not really thinking about it too much," he said. "I say I like that and I throw it on."
Burrow talked with Washburn at length about his unique fashion sense during the interview, insisting that he isn't looking to make a statement, but rather puts on clothes he thinks look good that day. But when asked if he is the best dressed Bengal, Burrow didn't hesitate on his answer.
"For sure," he said with a laugh. "Not even close."
