Cincinnati HSSA announce girls cross country nominees

The Cincinnati High School Sports Awards show is part of the USA TODAY High School Sports Awards, the largest high school sports recognition program in the country.

The Cincinnati Enquirer is proud to announce the nominees for girls cross country athlete of the year. The winner will be announced this spring at the Cincinnati High School Sports Awards show. More details about the program are coming soon.

During the live show, these nominees will be honored, along with the top three finalists and the player of the year. All official nominees can receive a free ticket. Check back later in the year for information on how to RSVP.

Eva Hensley, Oak Hills High School - Sophomore

Allison Kopser, Larry A. Ryle High School - Freshman

Hannah Lippincott, Talawanda High School - Senior

Abby Mathews, Stephen T. Badin High School - Freshman

Evelyn Prodoehl, Lakota West High School - Freshman

Maddie Strong, Scott High School - Sophomore

Elizabeth Whaley, Indian Hill High School - Senior
