The programs were initially scheduled to play the game as the American Athletic Conference opener for both programs on Dec. 28, but the game was postponed due to COVID-19 issues within Houston's program.
At the time of the postponement, the conference's policy was to award a forfeit victory to UC but AAC officials ultimately moved to schedule games affected by the pandemic.
Houston's trip to play UC at Fifth Third Arena on Feb. 6 has remained unchanged on the schedule.
