Buffalo Bills defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier, a former Cincinnati Bengals defensive coordinator, is among candidates with whom the Miami Dolphins have requested to speak for their head-coaching vacancy, according to multiple reports Wednesday.

NFL Network's Peter Schrager reported late Wednesday that Frazier is scheduled to interview Sunday with Miami.

Frazier, 62, was the Bengals' defensive coordinator under Marvin Lewis in 2003 and 2004. He was the head coach of the Minnesota Vikings from 2010 to 2013, when he was replaced by then-Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer. Zimmer was dismissed by the Vikings earlier this week.

Frazier has been the Bills' defensive coordinator since 2017.

The Chicago Bears also have asked the Bills for permission to speak to Frazier about their head-coaching vacancy, per multiple reports. Frazier played for the Bears from 1981 to 1985.

One year ago, Frazier and Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy, a former Cincinnati Bengals player, were believed to be candidates for the Houston Texans' head-coaching vacancy. The Texans hired David Culley.
