Cincinnati Bengals finish 10-7, await playoff opponent

Jan 9, 2022; Cleveland, Ohio, USA; Cincinnati Bengals running back Chris Evans (25) leaps over Cleveland Browns cornerback A.J. Green (38) during the first quarter at FirstEnergy Stadium.

The Cincinnati Bengals, AFC North champions for the first time since 2015, lost Sunday to the Cleveland Browns in Week 18. But their second loss of the season to the Browns doesn't keep Cincinnati from looking forward to a Wild Card Round game against a yet-to-be-determined opponent in the NFL playoffs.

Most surprising about Sunday's 1 p.m. Eastern games was the Indianapolis Colts' loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, potentially opening an improbable door for the 9-7-1 Pittsburgh Steelers - with their overtime win against the Baltimore Ravens - to grab a playoff spot if the Los Angeles Chargers and Las Vegas Raiders don't tie Sunday night.

The Tennessee Titans are the No. 1 seed, receiving a first-round bye. The Kansas City Chiefs are the No. 2 seed.
