Snow is possible for Greater Cincinnati on Thursday, and with that comes the possibility of slick roads, below freezing temperatures and wind chill in the teens.
Today, there is a chance of snow, mainly after noon with a total daytime accumulation of less than half an inch possible. Temperatures will remain cold, reaching a high near 26 during the day and dipping to a low of 12 overnight.
The snow chances start rising at 10 a.m. and peak at about 50% at 3 p.m. There is a higher chance of greater accumulation farther south and east of the region. The timing of the snow potential could make for hazardous driving conditions during the evening rush hour.
The National Weather Service has also issued a hazardous weather statement for East Central and Southeast Indiana and Central, Southwest and West Central Ohio, warning of potential for below zero wind chill values Thursday night into Friday morning.
Friday through Wednesday, there is a low probability for hazardous weather.
