The Big East Conference announced Tuesday that the Connecticut at Xavier men’s basketball game, which was originally scheduled for Tuesday, December 28, has been rescheduled for Friday, February 11 at 7 p.m. at Cintas Center. The game will be broadcast on FS1 and 700 WLW.
Tickets for the Dec. 28 game will be honored for the rescheduled date of Feb. 11, or they can be exchanged for a future game based on availability. All ticket holders will receive more information via email.
No. 22 Xavier, 11-2 overall and 1-1 in the Big East Conference, has been idle since Dec. 21 due to COVID-related issues in other Big East programs. The Dec. 28 game was canceled due to COVID issues within the UConn program and the Jan. 4 game at Georgetown was canceled due to COVID issues in the Georgetown program. XU is set to resume play on Friday night at Butler.
