A Finneytown High School student died early Friday morning, school district officials said.
High school junior Alex Harris died just after 3 a.m. at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, Superintendent Laurie Banks wrote in a Facebook post. He was involved in a car crash Thursday evening.
Harris was an athlete who played football and basketball for Finneytown.
"We are working with our building leaders to make sure we have supports in place across the district to help our students and staff members cope with this tragic loss," Banks wrote.
