The Grand Finale Restaurant in Glendale is closing its doors for good.

"It is with a heavy heart that I announce, Grand Finale Restaurant has permanently closed," Virginia Chambers, the restaurant's owner, wrote in a Facebook post Friday. The restaurant had been in operation for 46 years.

The social media post did not give a reason for the closure.

"Our Grand Finale family is truly grateful for the love and support all of you have shown us," Chambers added.

Hundreds of commenters responded to the post lamenting the Grand Finale's closure and sharing cherished memories of wedding anniversary dinners and birthday celebrations held there.
