Local COVID-19 testing locations have experienced high volumes of patients this past week as tests continue to rise in demand during the holiday season.
Hamilton County Public Health ran out of rapid tests on Tuesday, according to a tweet from the agency. Other testing providers, such as The Little Clinic, told the Enquirer Thursday that appointment slots for testing have been filled until Monday.

The Hamilton County Health Department has directed those looking for COVID-19 testing to visit testandprotectcincy.com, which lists all nearby testing facilities.

Below is a list of some COVID-19 testing providers in Warren County, Butler County and the surrounding areas. Note: Testing and appointment availability is changing rapidly. To ensure testing is available, call each location before arriving.
CareFirst Urgent Cares
Multiple Urgent Cares in the Cincinnati area are offering COVID-19 rapid testing. To find a location near you, visit their website here. Walk-in appointments are welcomed between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. and locations are open on New Year's Eve.
An operator at the Urgent Care Mason location said Thursday that COVID-19 rapid tests results are given in-house, and each patient will see a doctor to receive their results. PCR tests are sent to a lab out-of-house and result times can vary.
The operator also said some patients at the Mason location have called regarding their PCR tests conducted last week for Christmas, saying they had still yet to hear their results a week later.
Centerpoint Health
Centerpoint Health is offering curbside COVID-19 testing at two locations. The Middletown location tests on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The Franklin location tests on Thursdays.
Testing is conducted through a televisit appointment. Patients can call 513-217-9165 or visit centerpointhealth.org for more information on scheduling an appointment.
Mercy Health
Mercy Health is currently only providing tests for patients who have a Mercy Health primary care provider. For more information on tests available at nearby locations and hours of operation, call 866-624-0366.
Primary Health Solutions
Primary Health Solutions have several locations in Butler County. Individuals seeking COVID-19 testing should call 513-454-1111 or 937-535-5060 to schedule a virtual appointment with a medical provider who can place an order for a COVID-19 test.
CVS
The CVS Minute Clinic is offering both rapid and PCR tests at several locations in the Greater Cincinnati Area. To check for appointment availability, visit cvs.com/minuteclinic.
