This New Year's Eve, the University of Cincinnati Bearcats will play Alabama in the College Football Playoff's Cotton Bowl.

What's the weather forecast for the Cotton Bowl?
The National Weather Service predicts Arlington will be in the low 70s on Friday, reaching a high of 73 during the day and partly sunny, with a 20% chance of showers. Overnight, it will reach a low around 61 with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Luckily, AT&T Stadium (formerly Cowboys Stadium) has a retractable roof, so weather shouldn't impact the game too much.
If you're staying in Cincinnati to watch the game, it will likely be mostly sunny, reaching a high of 57 during the day with showers and a high of 61 on New Year's Day.
Are there flights still available to the Cotton Bowl?
If you want to fly from Cincinnati, Delta and American Airlines added seats for nonstop flights from Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) to the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport on Dec. 30.
Delta also added another nonstop flight to Dallas on Dec. 30.
According to Google Flights, some tickets are still available leaving Dec. 30, but it'll cost you. The cheapest round trip ticket, with an astonishing 33 hour travel time to Dallas, currently costs around $515, and prices only go up from there.
However, keep in mind that thousands of flights around the U.S. have been canceled or delayed due to holiday travel and the spread of the omicron variant of COVID-19.
Most flights departing CVG Monday have been on time, and only a few have been delayed or canceled, according to CVG's flight tracker. All flights departing Monday to Dallas are still on time.

If you'd rather drive, the shortest drive time from Cincinnati to Arlington is just under 14 hours.
Can I still buy tickets to the Cotton Bowl?
If you want to see the game in person, tickets are still available. Ticketmaster has plenty of options, with the cheapest starting at around $135 each.
