Bengals’ Joe Burrow passes for 299 yards in first half against Ravens

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow (9) throws a pass during warmups before a game against the Baltimore Ravens at Paul Brown Stadium on Dec. 26.

Just how impressive was Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow's first half Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 16 at Paul Brown Stadium?

Burrow had 299 passing yards, the most in a first half by an NFL quarterback this season and the most ever by any QB in a first half against the Ravens.

Burrow had three touchdown passes before halftime, to Tyler Boyd, Joe Mixon and Tee Higgins - with the final one set up by a remarkable, 52-yard catch in double coverage by Higgins. All three came in the second quarter.

The Bengals led 31-14 at the half.
