KHSAA releases first basketball statistical leaders and RPI rankings

The Kentucky High School Athletic Association released its initial statistical leaders for the 2021-22 high school basketball season on Wednesday.

They also released the Ratings Percentage Index computer rankings for the state and each of the 16 regions. Unlike football, the RPI has no direct bearing on any postseason pairings in basketball, but can be used to compare teams.

Here is a look at the new numbers, which were collected on Wednesday. Any games played on Wednesday are not included.

Lloyd players celebrate as time runs out in their sixth win in as many games this season, as Lloyd defeated Bishop Brossart 58-43 during the Mike Swauger Holiday Classic boys basketball tournament at Ben Flora Gymnasium, Bellevue, Ky.
