

Hamilton County Prosecutor Joseph Deters issued a warning ahead of the anticipated 'Patriot Shutdown' on Monday.Deters said the office learned there were plans to shut down the highways nationwide on Sept. 27 to protest vaccine mandates."I want to be perfectly clear," Deters said. "Anyone who attempts to shut down the highways in Hamilton County will be removed from their vehicles, charged with felony disrupting public services, and they will go to jail."Deters said the planned protest would pose a serious danger to first responders and the community."I have always been supportive of a citizen's First Amendment right to protest," Deters said. "But this is not lawful and it is reckless. It will not be tolerated."
