We know that this vehicle, you know, this will be put out in our social media. It appears to be 10 2012 mhm of this video for this vehicle. Is it in this instance tell you, is that this vehicle was seen in the apartment complex. You look at this photo right here, you'll notice that there is no tag on the rear of the vehicle. What that indicates to us is that this was a plan attack. It's something that was planned prior to yes, moments I've attacked. We have received a lot of tips and information as to why this attack. At the first press conference, I indicated that where I said that I like to think that the Children were not targeted at this point in the investigation. Believe the Children. We're very well. The Children very well Liked the targets of this along with Mr I would like to reach out to Why the information as to what led. I know what happened. What? I mean, I need somebody stand up. Whether it is they heard somebody speaking one of their friends was talking about it. They overheard that I need to put somebody at the scene of this of this. So with the Children in all intensive purposes, being targets of this, I would hope that our community would band together and say that this is not okay. I would hope that our community would come forward and say that we will not allow this this violence into these. Uh, I need specific information. I have a lot of people calling me with here safe with information that they heard this they knew this is what led up to it. I have the majority of right. What I need to help now with from the community is who was at the scene that night. You can see in that photo that is daylight. The incident did not occur in the daylight. So that would tell you that they sat there and they free condor. They just look of I do know that crime Stoppers is providing money or reward money for any information. I've been told several times that people have information but that they are afraid to come forward with. Right? This is what I would say to those people. You don't have to call 911. Crews come to your house to provide that information. You can call me directly. And my number is out there myself. My office number, the homicide number. Or you can call crime. Yeah, I will treat you as a confidential source, but I need that information of that has first hand knowledge of the senses. We're getting very close. We're working day and night on this, but I need that information to push this over the edge. The community itself. I need the public's help to say that this is not okay. I want to breathe. If you can share, why these eggs target? I'm not going to get into any of that right now. This is still very investigation. There are certain things about an investigation that we will not put out. So time comes to take something to trial. Um, if it's a question that I can't answer and that I have spoken with the family about because I'm not going to release any information. Talk to them. But what I can tell you is I believe that the shooters in this case absolutely knew that those Children were in the car, whether they were the target of that shooting or not. I can't say temperature, but I do believe we think I'm just wondering. As perfect as the scene was now knowing that the shooters I knew the Children were there and still continued shooting are 50 times what does that do to you? To the team, knowing, like, which gives so such disregard for Children's lives. I would be lying if I said there were Children involved. Doesn't affect our team. Change something. And all of our homicides are investigated with the same urgency. The same intensity. Uh huh. Okay, with the scene come up to a scene like that, it does. It does change. Yes. Uh, so it does change things, but one thing it does not change. Treat every house. Yeah. Detective Kelly, I've been to numerous events this past lot of places as well. Yes, your privacy. But the thing that I'm constantly that I'm hearing is people might be scared. The words snitching as snitching culture is probably what's holding that information back? Absolutely. You have to say about snitching and this. I mean, this isn't snitching. This is basically doing the right thing. The chief said this is snitching. This is human. Yeah. Doing this for a while. You're very, very beautiful in this room. Has been doing this for snitching. And that culture only goes so far. Um, and I would say that is the fact that our people he did not deserve this, especially those two Children. But all three. There's not a person That car that deserves one. Um, we have been working very, very hard. Not just on this on on all of the other homicides. No snitching culture. I hear a lot of a lot of people talking about. They want the community, the police, too, to heal and to get together on these things. Politicians, he started crying fun. If Obama's as a community is going to fix this started right, there are no, there's no worse scene that you can think of that would cause change and the police and community distrust that we've had in the past. It can stop right here. We can start right here to change everything. And if we do that as a community, those two Children and Mr Wade didn't I heard they died. They were changing this community. I'm sorry. The people who are at the scene, what specific information are you looking From them to pick up the phone and call and give you. I want to know who was at that scene. Somebody out there. There is a person sitting at home right now watching this, that absolutely 100% knows who the shooter is because that shooter told them they did. It's because they were the driver of the car is because they are in the same group of people. It could be a girlfriend. It could be a mother could be a grandmother. I need firsthand information. People that were at this because that is always going to go farther. The firsthand accounts and the first hand it was going to go farther than the technology, the different avenues of theories that we first I'm looking for call in and said, I heard this person say this show. And have you heard from people who were at the scene? Is there a specific person you're looking for? No specific. I'm just looking. That's the first time. Do you think the shooters are still in the area that I don't know? We have an indication of where I mean for the public safety. They're wondering, you know, the shooters, how many there are. I don't know if you narrow that down yet if they're willing to do that, is there a greater public safety concern here? I would say there's a greater public safety concern to not call because the only way we can stop or slow the homicides is to put people in jail. There's no other way around. The only way we can themselves is to solve, because if we solve this homicide that maybe the next one will think twice about. But as far as the public safety, I would say it's more dangerous for them to be out regardless of where they are, as opposed to calling me. So we, You know? Yes. Are there 2 3? There's really mhm, but it is multiple Salt, of course, is the vehicle. If you obviously didn't have a license plate, is there any reason to believe it may have been stolen or object? Seen any stolen vehicles matching this description at this point? So at this point, I would think just an educated guess for a while. If I was going to steal a vehicle to do that Probably. Yes. A police investigator says he believes the people who killed two young children along with a man at an Ohio apartment complex a week ago knew the children were present and may have targeted them along with the man.Authorities said 9-year-old Demitrius Wall’neal and 6-year-old Londynn Wall’neal were shot along with 22-year-old Charles Wade as they sat in a car in the parking lot of the Winchester Lakes apartment complex on the southeast side of Columbus on the night of Dec. 7. Police said two armed suspects had approached the vehicle and opened fire “without any apparent warning or provocation” before a third suspect drove them away. Columbus homicide detective Terry Kelly said the shooting appeared to be “a targeted assassination.” Police initially said they believed Wade was the intended victim, but Kelley told reporters Tuesday that investigators now believe the young children may have been targeted as well, although he's not completely sure whether their deaths were intended or the shooters just didn't care that the children were present. “What I can tell you is I believe that the shooters in this case absolutely knew that those children were in the car," Kelley said. “Whether they were the target of that shooting or not, I can't say 100 percent for sure, but I do believe that they knew they were in the car."Kelley repeatedly urged anyone with firsthand information about who was at the scene to come forward, adding that he hoped that “our community would come forward and say that we will not allow this violence to happen to these kids."A prayer vigil was held over the weekend on a bridge in downtown Columbus in memory of the youngsters.

A police investigator says he believes the people who killed two young children along with a man at an Ohio apartment complex a week ago knew the children were present and may have targeted them along with the man.
