Previously, Faler served as the head freshman football coach at Mason High School for two years, the varsity quarterback coach and passing game coordinator for three seasons and the head eighth grade football coach at Mason Middle School for five years.
"Micah Faler will change lives immediately and directly enhance the culture of Lebanon. He will be a builder of young men in the classroom and on the field," Mason head football coach Brian Castner said in the release. "He loves the Lebanon community and will work tirelessly every day to show that love. I have full confidence that Micah is the best choice to be your next head football coach."
Faler, 41, lives in Lebanon and has taught social studies at Mason High School since 2005.
"I am very grateful and honored to be the next head coach of the Lebanon Warriors football program. Lebanon is a special place with a community that supports each other and supports their student-athletes," Faler said in the release. "I am excited to lead this program and these players to their highest level of potential and to excellence, integrity and great character on and off the field."
Faler is set to be formally introduced as the next head football coach at Lebanon's home basketball game against Anderson Dec. 17.
Lebanon finished 3-7 last season and lost in the first round of the OHSAA playoffs. The Warriors are 7-13 overall in two seasons since joining the Eastern Cincinnati Conference.
