"Actually on Saturday, it was my birthday and we had to wait until the game was over to celebrate because you know, it’s a big game!"From no fans in the stadium last year, to now, fans all across the country, operations manager Ty Bonawitz said it's been an exciting time.“The closest thing I can relate it to is 2009 when the Bearcats made it to the Sugar Bowl," Bonawitz said. Even then, he said it wasn't this exciting as the Bearcats have a chance to be in the CFP.You could say, sales are up.“Right now is all about the AAC champ tees and the Cotton Bowl tees," Bonawitz said.Customers roll in one after another.“I’ve got an undefeated season t-shirt because they are and I’m an alumni and both my kids came here and we are so excited and beat ‘Bama," UC alumni Jane Elliott said. Fans can't get enough gear. “We are getting people in from Texas, from California, all over the US who have become fans just from this year," Bonawitz said.Elliott has been a fan since the 1980s and is excitedly awaiting the Cotton Bowl.Elliott said one thing is for sure, Cincinnati is ready to celebrate."They'll be a party at my house. Come on over," Elliott said.DuBois is processing up to 200 online orders a day, and shipping to fans across the country.Cincy Shirts is also seeing a rise in sales.They have partnered with Bearcats coach Luke Fickell and will soon offer shirts benefiting the coach's 2nd and 7 Foundation.
