Cincinnati Public Schools collecting toys, clothing for students experiencing homelessness


Cincinnati Public Schools is looking to collect toys, books and clothing for students experiencing homelessness ahead of the holidays.My Kidz is partnering with CPS's Project Connect to collect the items this weekend. The toy drive will take place at Woodward Career Technical High School on Saturday from noon to 4 p.m.Project Connect was founded in 1996 and it provides "advocacy, paired with specialized educational services and lifestyle enrichment opportunities, for children who have neither a voice, nor a choice, in being homeless," according to CPS.The items must be unwrapped and new.
