The college football bowl schedule was released on Sunday, and the Miami RedHawks learned where they will be playing.
Coach Chuck Martin's squad will face the North Texas Mean Green on Thursday, Dec. 23 in the Frisco Football Classic at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas.
The game will be played at 3:30 p.m. and will be shown on ESPN.

The RedHawks finished the season with a 6-6 record and a 5-3 mark in the Mid-American Conference. The Mean Green were 6-6 and 5-3 in Conference USA.
Jack Sorenson, Kameron Butler and Ivan Pace Jr. were first-team All-MAC selections. Butler is a Covington Catholic alum and Pace graduated from Colerain. Miami quarterback Brett Gabbert was a third-team selection after throwing for 2,418 yards and 24 touchdowns.
North Texas won five straight games to close out the season. DeAndre Torrey ran for 1,215 yards and 13 touchdowns to lead an offense that totaled 2,954 yards on the ground for the season.
Miami lost to Louisiana in the LendingTree Bowl last season. This will be the first time the RedHawks have made back-to-back bowl games since the 2003-04 seasons.
