Los Angeles Chargers lead Cincinnati Bengals 38-22

The Cincinnati Bengals host the Los Angeles Chargers at 1 p.m. at Paul Brown Stadium with a chance to get another head-to-head win over a potential playoff challenger. The Bengals are 3.5-point favorites, according to Tipico Sportsbook, and the over/under point total for the game is 49.5.

Three weeks ago, the Bengals went into their bye losers of two in a row, but have rebounded with consecutive wins over the Las Vegas Raiders and Pittsburgh Steelers and find themselves the fifth seed in the AFC Playoff picture.

The Bengals (7-4) will be without starting right tackle Riley Reiff and center Trey Hopkins against the Chargers (6-5).

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow (9) flings his helmet straps off as the Bengals fail to get a play off in the final seconds of the second quarter of the NFL Week 13 game between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Los Angeles Chargers at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati on Sunday, Dec. 5, 2021. The Chargers led 24-13 at halftime.

After suffering injuries against the Steelers last week, Reiff and Hopkins were unable to practice all week. Head coach Zac Taylor said on Friday they make a game-time decision with the two veteran players to give them as much time as they needed before ruling them out.

With Reiff out, Isaiah Prince will start at right tackle. Behind Hopkins on the depth chart at center is rookie Trey Hill. This is the first time this season the Bengals will be without two starting offensive linemen.
