A Conner Middle School student is accused of writing specific acts of violence inside a notebook last week, according to the Boone County Sheriff's Office.The sheriff said on Nov. 23, a Boone County Sheriff's Office school resource officer was alerted of the notebook. The officer interviewed the middle school student and the student admitted to writing the contents of the notebook.The student told the officer that he was not planning to carry out the acts but was merely "writing the thoughts down that were in his head," the Boone County Sheriff's Office state in a release.According to the sheriff, the notebook identified people and how the student would locate them or have them respond to an area where he would encounter them.The school resource officer is in communication with a court-designated worker who handles the filing of criminal charges against juveniles.
