He chose music as one way to express that pain."When you think I was shot at 10 years old. No 10-year-old should be shot in the summer or in a winter in the fall or in the spring,” Jackson said.He said he's had eight family members in the city of Cincinnati murdered by gun violence. One of them was 14 years old.He's written a song titled ‘Not One More’ in response to the number of deaths.According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, more than 100 people die from gun injuries every day in this country, that includes everything from crimes to suicide..
