ESPN misspells Ridder on website and UC-Arkansas broadcast graphic

Seeing the name Cincinnati misspelled ad nauseam doesn't make it any easier for UC Bearcats fans to stomach the misspelling of star quarterback Desmond Ridder's last name.

Many indicated on social media that they've had about enough of ESPN failing to correctly spell the last name of the NFL Draft prospect, named earlier this week as a finalist for the 2021 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award.

About one year after ESPN tweeted that "Desmond Riddler shined under the Friday night lights against East Carolina," the network misspelled Ridder's last name in a story Tuesday night on its website and in a graphic during ESPN2's broadcast of the UC-Arkansas men's basketball game in the Hall of Fame Classic in Kansas City.
