Cincinnati Bearcats fans would not have been happy if UC had been left out of the College Football Playoff selection committee's top four teams in the latest rankings, after the Bearcats routed SMU and Utah blew out Oregon this past weekend.
On Tuesday night, the Top 4 did, in fact, include UC - in addition to the Georgia Bulldogs, Ohio State Buckeyes and Alabama Crimson Tide - marking the first time ever that the CFP rankings included a Group of Five team among its top four.
