Mike Saunders Jr. scored 20 points and Jeremiah Davenport added 19 for the Bearcats, which improved to 5-0 this season. Illinois led by 15 early on - in All-American center Kofi Cockburn's first game of the season - but trailed by three at the half and shot just 28.1 percent from the field.
