Any Ohioan between the ages of 5 to 25 who has received their first dose of the coronavirus vaccine is eligible to register for the scholarship drawings by Sunday, Nov. 21 at 11:59p.m. The Ohio VAX-2-SCHOOL prizes will give 150 $10,000 scholarships. There will also be five grand prizes drawn, which will contain $100,000 in scholarships. If your first dose is after Nov. 21, Ohioans in the age group will be able to register for the second drawing, which will make them eligible for the grand prizes and 75 $10,000 scholarships. The registration deadline for the second drawing is Nov. 28. If your first dose is after Nov. 28, Ohioans in the age group can register for the grand prize drawing. The deadline for the grand prize drawing is Dec. 1. Winners for the drawings will be announced between Nov. 29 through Dec. 3. The scholarships can be used toward college tuition to any Ohio college, university, technical/trade school or career program of the winner's choice.
