A local casting director is searching for paid extras for an upcoming Regina King feature film.
The untitled file will begin shooting in the Cincinnati area this winter, according to a Friday Facebook post by D. Lynn Meyers Casting.
According to Meyers' IMDB page, she's known for working on "Hillbilly Elegy" starring Amy Adams and Glen Close, "Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile," the Ted Bundy biopic starring Zac Efron and the 1994 film "The Shawshank Redemption."

King has earned numerous awards for her acting, including the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for “If Beale Street Could Talk,” plus Emmy Awards for “American Crime,” “Seven Seconds” and “Watchmen.”
Since 2013, she has directed episodes of television shows such as “Southland,” “Scandal,” “This Is Us” and “Shameless.”
King was born in Cincinnati but grew up in Los Angeles. She sent her first Emmy Award to her hometown of Cincinnati where her mother and grandmother could watch over it.
