The University of Cincinnati Bearcats football team will host SMU at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Nippert Stadium.

SMU is 8-2 overall, with a 4-2 record in the AAC, while the Bearcats are ranked No. 2 in the Associated Press poll and third in the coaches poll.

Cincinnati defeated the University of South Florida 45-28 last week, while SMU defeated Central Florida, 55-28.

The Bearcats remained No. 5 in the College Football Playoff standings.
