Dave Chappelle brings his "Untitled" documentary to Heritage Bank Center on Wednesday.
The film revolves around a series of shows he hosted near Yellow Springs, where he lives, amid the COVID-19 lockdown.
The comedian has shown the movie in cities across the country even as he's faced criticism that his comments in a recent Netflix special were transphobic.
He addressed the controversy during a show in Des Moines last week.
Hollywoodland in limbo
Middletown is considering a development agreement for Hollywoodland, an entertainment-themed, mixed-use project estimated to cost about $1.3 billion. But, questions about potential conflicts of interest threaten to derail the process.
In a letter Councilmember Monica Nenni sent to the Ohio Ethics Commission, she said the agreement needs to be considered by the council's Tuesday meeting due to “land acquisition timing constraints."
It's unclear whether the project has enough support to move forward.
