The Cincinnati Bengals had a 3rd-and-goal at the Cleveland 4-yard line - looking to score on their opening drive of the game - when quarterback Joe Burrow threw an interception to the Browns' Denzel Ward, who returned it 99 yards for the first touchdown of the game Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium.
"What a huge (momentum) swing!" CBS analyst Tony Romo said after the play. Romo later pointed out that one positive for the Bengals might be fatigue for the Browns' defense after being on the field for 20 consecutive plays.
It was Burrow's 10th interception of the season and sixth in his past five games. He threw his second pick of the game, 11th of the season and seventh in five games during the third quarter.
Burrow and Ward were teammates with the Ohio State Buckeyes.
The Browns distanced themselves the rest of the way in a 41-16 win.
"I think the secondary for Cleveland has been the difference in this game more than anything else," Romo said during the fourth quarter.
