Former Winton Woods High School standout David Long Jr. of the Tennessee Titans was the beneficiary of pressure teammate Jeffery Simmons applied to Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford and a bad decision Stafford made with a pass he threw to Long in trying to avoid a safety during the second quarter Sunday night.
Long made the interception at the Rams' 8, and returned it two yards to their 6 - setting up the Titans' first touchdown of the game
It was Long's first career interception in three NFL seasons, all with the Titans. Long was a sixth-round pick of the Titans from West Virginia in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Long is among 20 players on NFL rosters from Greater Cincinnati high schools.
