A new restaurant is going into the former Pies & Pints location at the Banks.
E+O Kitchen is expanding with a second location at 56 West Freedom Way.
"We feel like there's a lot of momentum at the Banks. So we're super excited about that. You have the ICON Music Center coming up and the Bengals are playing at Paul Brown Stadium, and they're doing well. There's a lot of energy in the area, and we want to be part of that," said Anthony Castelli, the Marketing Director at Earth & Ocean Restaurant Group.
He said the menu at the new location will feature familiar E+O menu items like sticky ribs and chicken katsu, but special items will be added over time.
The restaurant group also hopes to introduce new features like sushi rolling classes and chef's table dinners to E+O at the Banks.
The new location has a main bar with expanded beer, wine, and liquor offerings. There's also an express bar that faces Paul Brown Stadium with patio seating.
Castelli said patrons can also expect to see new cocktails on the menu.
"At this location, people don't need to have that full meal just to enjoy a beverage. There's going be a lot of people coming through before concerts, after concerts, before games, after games, and then we want to capture anyone who wants to come and have a good time," Castelli said.
Brunch is also going to be a big feature at the Banks location. Breakfast staples like French toast and eggs benedict will be on the menu with dining and drinking packages.
"One thing we're working to do great at is breakfast and brunch. We'll work on introducing new times and making them as interesting and as unique as possible," said Castelli.
E+O at the Banks had its grand opening Friday and will continue the festivities into Sunday with a brunch ahead of the Bengal's game at 10:00 a.m.
