Just two weeks ago, Holmes played at Scott and beat the Eagles 40-0. Now in the playoffs, Scott took a major 180, blowing out the Bulldogs at Holmes. Scott quarterback Gus Howlett, who had just 15 yards rushing in the first meeting, went off for three touchdowns on the ground. Howlett also stepped up the passing game, going 8-14 for 233 yards. Nate Meyer caught one pass for an 86 yard touchdown as the Eagles had 370 yards of total offense. Holmes broke the door open first with a touchdown run by Curtez Hill, who had 72 yards on five carries. Despite another 131 yards from Tayquan Calloway, Holmes didn’t score again.
