Nick Lachey will be the celebrity picker for ESPN's "College GameDay" broadcast in Cincinnati on Saturday.Lachey, who rose to fame as a singer in the boyband group, 98 Degrees, grew up in Cincinnati and attended the School for Creative Performing Arts in Cincinnati. He then went on to attend Miami University.Lachey is a big fan of Cincinnati sports, including the Cincinnati Bearcats. Lachey tweeted Friday that his grandfather was a professor at UC for 40 years. Both of his parents also went to UC and met there."I was raised on that campus and have been going to see #Bearcats football at Nippert since the early 80s," he tweeted. "No one is more excited to see GameDay come to Clifton than me."For the past decade or so, ESPN has invited celebrities as guest pickers on the three-hour program.Jerry Springer will also be involved with the broadcast, but it is unclear to what extent.
