If you're a beleaguered FC Cincinnati fan eager to turn the page on the 2021 Major League Soccer season, it appears you'll be able to do so faster than at any other point during FCC's time in the league.
MLS on Friday announced the basic scheduling details for the 2022 regular season, along with confirmation that Nashville SC will move to the Western Conference as expansion side Charlotte FC will take its place in the Eastern Conference.

With the full regular season schedules to be revealed before the end of 2021, here are the basics of the MLS announcement:
• The 2022 regular season will start Feb. 26.
• Decision Day, the day of regular-season finales that typically holds playoff implications for multiple teams, is scheduled for Oct. 9.
• Exactly one year from Friday's announcement, MLS Cup will be staged on Nov. 5, 2022.
• The 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar begins Nov. 21, and should the U.S. men's national team qualify for the group stage, it would likely impact multiple MLS players.
