A woman was killed and another person was injured in a shooting in East Price Hill early Saturday morning, Cincinnati police say.
Police received a 911 call regarding a shooting at the 800 block of Elberon Avenue around 2 a.m., according to a release.
Officers and emergency personnel with the Cincinnati Fire Department found 34-year-old Kellie Drollinger suffering from a gunshot wound upon arriving at the scene, police said.
Another victim, whose identity has not been released, was also found suffering from non-life-threatening injuries, the release states.
Drollinger was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where she died of her injuries, according to police.
The investigation into Drollinger's death is ongoing, police said. Anyone with information regarding the shooting is urged to call the Cincinnati Police Department's homicide unit at 513-352-3542.
